Appointment with Race for the Cure, the charitable and world famous marathon, patronized by Susan G. Komen Italia Onlus, the Association that has raised funds for research on breast cancer since 2000. As usual, also this year Natuzzi Group has reiterated its commitment to Komen: Divani&Divani by Natuzzi will sponsor all the Race for the Cure to be held in Rome, Bari, Bologna and Naples. But contribution from our Company to Komen Italy is not just this: the objective, in fact, is to collect as many adhesions as possible and constitute the largest company team of solidarity to enter the marathons.
Race for the Cure is a mini-marathon, 5 km in length, which aims at increasing the awareness about the importance of prevention. Also this year, the marathon will stop over 4 different cities: Rome, May 22nd, Bari, May 29th, Bologna, September 25th and Naples, October 09th. Race for the Cure is a free event, combining sports, entertainment, emotions and social commitment. The main characters of the event are the " Women in Pink ", women having personally handled with breast cancer, who intentionally choose to distinguish from other by wearing a T-shirt and a pink hat, to demonstrate the positive attitude in facing with illness.
